Good news Friday!!

My AF has FINALLY arrived! I finished taking Provera on Tuesday and was told within a few days of finishing my AF would come. Low & behold, it did! 🙂 {Side note: I may be the happiest girl in the world right now to get her period} LOL. The Provera side effects weren’t terrible, but they weren’t great either. I had some pretty bad headaches & noticed I was a bit more tired than usual.

Starting tomorrow, on day 2 of my cycle, I will start taking birth control for 10-12 days. I know, kind of ironic that I’ve NEVER taken the pill my whole life & now when we are trying to get pregnant, they put me on it, right?!?!?! Oh well, I guess it’s part of the process. 🙂

My RE is getting our IVF meds ordered today so we will get to find out how much that is going to cost us. In 10-12 days, I’ll go in for a hysteroscopy & for extra blood work to make sure everything’s working properly. For the hysteroscopy, they’ll use a catheter to look at my uterus. She wants to make sure I have no polyps or fybroids and make sure that an embryo could attach. 🙂 You can learn more about a hysteroscopy here. HOW EXCITING! 🙂 Praying for good news with that!

I should be getting an “IVF timeline” with dates from my RN by EOD or Monday so we kind of know what’s going to happen & when. I’m feeling a whole whirlwind of emotions right now, but mostly just excited and anxious.

Another exciting thing — I’m starting to get into essential oils. Specifically those by Young Living. My cousin Hannah so graciously reached out to me and offered me some guidance on which oils specifically help with infertility. I used Lavender in my diffuser at home earlier this week (& all week) and it put me right to sleep. Not only that, I woke up with ZERO back pain/cramps. The Lavender will be good for a stress reliever as well. I’m also going to start using the essential oil Clary Sage daily. Ironically, my cousin’s wife Arica reached out to me this week too regarding essential oils and infertility. Some awesome success stories out there & I’m praying I’m one of the next ones. 🙂 Get to know Young Living & view their amazing products here. I’m beyond ready to start this journey. I truly can’t wait.
